Gift in Wills Officer (VIC, SA and TAS)
I joined the Vision Australia community in 2023, drawn by a mission that deeply resonates with me, supporting people who are blind or have low vision to live the life they choose. My mum’s journey with Macular Degeneration, along with my best friend Amanda being legally blind, has shown me firsthand how vital inclusion, understanding, and accessibility are in everyday life.
I love connecting with our supporters and hearing their stories, each one shaped by a personal experience or moment of insight into blindness and low vision. Many also share a soft spot for our Seeing Eye Dogs! Although we choose to leave a gift in our Wills for different reasons, we are all motivated by the same hope: to make a lasting, positive difference in the lives of people who are blind or have low vision.
