It’s as easy as swiping up, down, left and right to open up an accessible digital world, according to Voxmate.
This week on Vision Australia Radio’s Talking Tech, host David Woodbridge and Stephen Jolley speak to one of the Voxmate app developers, Gleb Zevkov.
The Android app is designed as a clean and simple audio-based interface. It gives users easy access a wide range of content and activities, including reading the news, playing games and socialising.
“It’s supposed to be the simplest, most audio first application out there,” Gleb explains.
“Your go-to app when you’re first losing vision,” Gleb explains.
The app was designed initially for one of the founder’s family members, who struggled to access screen reader software like Voiceover or Talkback after losing their vision.
