Vision Australia's annual Making a Difference Awards are the perfect way to recognise and thank individuals, community groups and organisations in your community, who help make a practical difference for people who are blind or vision impaired.

- the Harbour Family and Children's Centre for adapting toys and equipment so that a child with a vision impairment could fully interact with the other children and staff at the centre.
- Merrigong Theatre for improving accessibility to their venue and shows.
- and Sylvania Lawns Bowling Club for increasing participation in lawn bowls through a range of different initiatives including setting up a regular group.
