Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.
The 2012 London Paralympic Games are less than 5 months away so in the program for March 26, we drop in on the preparation of Australians likely to compete under Vision Impaired classifications. We find out a little of the work of the Australian Paralympic Committee and speak with two tandem cyclists to gain an appreciation of their background and incredible work ethic as they prepare for the Games.
You can hear:
- Jake Hardiman, a Development Officer with the Australian Paralympic Committee;
- Tandem cyclist Felicity Johnson from Melrose Park in Adelaide who has low vision;
- Tandem cyclist Bryce Lindores from Nobbies Beach on the Gold Coast who is blind.
