Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.
In the program for the week of February 18, we have two moving and quite contrasting features from Queensland. A gentleman from Bundaberg, reflects on the recent storms and floods, with insights from the perspective of people who are blind. Then, we salute a lady who has recently been acknowledged for her 60 years of teaching and producing braille with an Order of Australia medal.
Participants this week are:
- Ron Doyle a resident of Bargara near Bundaberg;
- Mrs Gwen Hay OAM, reflecting on her decades of teaching and producing braille.
