Jen Nickols, 40, is aiming to be the first blind cyclist to ride all the way around Australia with her Seeing Eye Dog, Zelda.
From Bass Strait to the Coral Sea, the Pacific to the Indian Ocean, Jen and Zelda will experience all of this when they set off on the cycle ride of a lifetime.
Jen will leave Hobart on April 14 on a tandem bike and is determined to reach her challenge.
During the 18,000km journey, Jen will pedal through some of Australia’s richest agricultural areas, battle city traffic, pass dozens of lakes, beaches and waterways and experience the remoteness of Outback Australia with its heat, dust, road trains and flies.
Vision Australia wishes Jen and Zelda the best of luck for their exciting adventure.
