Vision Australia Radio Celebrates a Record-Breaking 8 Nominations for the CBAA Awards
Vision Australia Radio is beyond thrilled to announce that we have made history with eight nominations in this year's prestigious Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) Awards!
These nominations showcase the incredible talent and dedication of our teams, volunteers, and presenters who work tirelessly to deliver quality, inclusive content.
To everyone involved, your passion has led us here, and we congratulate you on your exceptional work. And to our loyal listeners, your continued support, feedback, and sense of community have made this possible. We are grateful to you all for your trust and belief in what we do.
Here is a closer look at the well-deserved recognition our programs and people have earned with a CBAA nomination:
“The record number of nominations for Vision Australia Radio in this year’s CBAA Awards is a testament to the incredibly dedicated volunteers and staff who take immense pride in delivering entertaining and engaging content each week for our community of interest. The diversity of the categories we’ve been acknowledged in also highlights the effort and skills that our team bring as individuals and as a collective in ensuring we consistently deliver quality programs and podcasts for the blind, low vision and print disability communities across Australia”.
— Conrad Browne, Manager Vision Australia Radio and audio services
From creating innovative programs that give voice to under-represented communities, to ensuring our content remains inclusive and accessible for all, Vision Australia Radio continues to break new ground. It’s an incredible honour to have this hard work recognised at such a prestigious level.
The excitement is building as we look ahead to the CBAA Awards gala on the Gold Coast this October. We’re crossing our fingers for a win, but no matter what, all 8 of these nominations are already a victory.
