Week one: Gallery, Stage, Sound and Page
Books about music, dance, and art, and books about books...
In Gallery, Stage, Sound and Page we’ll contemplate how books reflect culture, and relish in the magical depictions of creativity in books. Ranging from titles from the Picture of Dorian Gray to the latest musical memoir.
Week two: On the menu
From Alice’s tea party to Babette’s feast, culinary moments have punctuated some much loved moments in fiction. We’ll reminisce on treasured treats from our favourite childhood books and discuss iconic literary meals.
Week three: Elsewhere and other places
Books take us on journeys around the world and beyond. Share the travel locales inspired by your reads, as we discuss the settings that have captivated and fascinated us, from Brooklyn to somewhere Under the Tuscan Sun.
